I know you want to make sure you always have the latest information on postpartum depression, and access to continual support and hope. Several of you have mentioned you haven’t been receiving your subscription emails to Postpartum Progress. Don’t know why, but I thought this would be a good time to let everyone know how the subscriptions work.
First, it’s free. Second, a subscription makes it much easier to keep up with what is happening on the site. You don’t have to constantly check in by finding going to our site every day. Instead, you can get an email each morning that tells you if there are new posts (posts is just the word for articles or stories when it comes to blogging). You’ll see the name of each new post plus a quick summary. That will allow you to decide whether you want to click through and read the whole thing, or if it doesn’t pertain to you.
Alternatively, you can sign up for the RSS feed and read our posts in your reader. If you don’t know what an RSS feed is, don’t worry. The internet geeks among us do. You can just stick with the email subscription.
To subscribe, click on that thing at the top of our home page that looks like part of a gray rainbow (next to the Twitter and Facebook logos). When you do, you’ll see this:
In the top right-hand corner of the box, you can click the envelope to get Postpartum Progress delivered to you by email, or above that you can click which RSS reed reader you’d like to use. You will then receive an email in your inbox from Feedburner asking you to click a link (which you must do) to confirm your subscription. Once you do that you’re all set. It’s easy! And convenient! So do it now! 😉
I really like this site. It is very helpful and this will help me on my senior writing project which is based on Postpartum Depression.
