As reported in the Boston Globe,a bill requiring "Massachusetts health insurers to submit annual reports on their efforts to screen for postpartum depression" haspassedthe state's Senate and House. It also creates a commission that will "determine the best way to prevent, detect and treat postpartum depression and to recommend the best public policies." All that remains is for the governor to sign it into law. Way to go, Massachusetts!
