Headspace makes learning meditation through mindfulness easy. You learn online (on your computer or using an app on a tablet or your phone) in just 10 minutes a day.
Studies have shown that meditation through mindfulness can help decrease stress, anxiety, lack of focus, worry, and more. You can read more about the science of meditation here. We’ve tried Headspace and find it easy to use and love its accessibility.

I haven’t tried meditation but recently I have heard the word mindfulness a lot and have been thinking about looking into it. This app could help me calm and focus a bit. Worth a shot right 😉
I love to meditate…it is very relaxing! Kripalu Yoga is also a great way to relax as well. I have found both yoga and meditation to be very helpful in terms of relaxation and getting rid of stress and any negative feelings (anxiety, frustration) that may pop up. I have done the free trial for Headspace but cannot afford a subscription right now. I liked Andy’s voice…it is very soothing and relaxing.
I have tried it a little and definitely found it to be helpful.
It has been helpful for me to reduce anxiety that created some insomnia problems.
I haven’t tried meditation before but it has been recommended for my anxiety. I do count my breaths and try and do mindful breathing and that does help.
I haven’t tried it, but have heard about it, and it has been recommended as a good thing by friends.
I’ve attempted…I’ve done more journaling but I would love to be able to quiet my mind and understand mindfulness more.
I just finished a 3-day Intro to mindfulness class and I cannot say enough good things about it. I grew-up in a Zen meditation household and that type of meditation never really click-ed with me, in fact I actively avoided it for 30ish years. The mindfulness method however took all the stuff out that I didn’t like, and just focused on awareness of my body, and my mind. Really really recommend.
I’d love to try it!
I have tried mediation and it’s very helpful with my panic attacks, I’ve also done progressive muscle relaxation and It’s great.
My therapist has me doing tea kettle breathing. It does help, when I’m not fully anxious. I’d love to learn more techniques.
i’ve done the free ten days on headspace and loved it. would love to do more, and a free subscription would really help!
I have tried meditation and aroma therapy and found both difficult with racing thoughts in my mind…
I am familiar with meditation a bit. I have been told more of it would significantly help me to talk me down and out of my anxiety and scary places. I would love to try this!
I haven’t tried mindfulness meditation before, I’ve only done meditation at the end of a yoga session which is always relaxing and rejuvenating. Headspace keeps popping up on my radar through podcasts, library books and now blogs, must give it a try as I’ve heard so many great benefits.
Thanks!
I have tried meditation. I have found walking meditation to work best for me. It helps me get out of my head, release tension while being active. It also eliminates the anxiety I’ve experienced (i.e. thinking I’m not doing it right or good enough) while trying to meditate while sitting.
I do deep breathing before going to bed every night using an app called Breathe
I have not tried meditation, although I have been reading about it. I have ptsd and have been trying to find ways to reduce or remove medication from my life. With a better under standing of mindfulness and meditation I hope to reduce if not remove some medications.
I may be a little late to the party by I thought it’d be worth commenting. I have in fact tried the free 10 days of headspace. I’ve found it great and just what I was looking for. The one issue is being a teenager I don’t have the money for an actual subscription. Having one would greatly benefit me. It would help me remove the suprisingly high amount of stresses in a teens life.
