Postpartum Support Virginia and the Tidewater Perinatal Mental Health Consortium will be hosting a one-day conference called “Mental Health in Pregnancy and Beyond: Beyond the Basics.” The event will be held at the Hampton Roads Convention Center on Friday, February 1st. The conference is designed to improve knowledge regarding recognition, diagnostic and treatment strategies, and provision of social support for women with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMAD). Speakers include faculty from Johns Hopkins University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and The University of North Carolina.
