On April 19-20, Indiana will host its annual PPD conference with a 2-day PSI training on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. The event will be held at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, and the fee to attend both days is $200. To register, click here.
The Postpartum Health Alliance of San Diego will host its 6th annual Mamafest on April 27th at La Costa Resort. This mom’s night out event helps raid funds that allow PHA to continue its work supporting women with PPD. You can buy tickets in advance for $20 by clicking here.
Oregon’s Baby Blues Connection hosts its annual Prom on Saturday, May 5th in Portland. This yearly fundraiser allows them to continue to provide free support services to women with postpartum depression and related illnesses. Click here to buy tickets, which are $40 each or $70 per couple.
Michigan’s Tree of Hope Foundation will host its 8th annual Step Up for Hope MARCH FOR MOMS, 5K Run, Walk & Stroll on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Lake St. Clair Metropark, (formerly called Metro Beach Metropark) along Jefferson in Harrison Township, Mich. This event raises funds for Tree of Hope’s PPD awareness work and support groups. Advanced registration is $15. Click here to register.
Sounds of Silence, an organization which raises funds for the Postpartum Resource Center of New York, will host its annual 5K Run/Walk/Stroller Walk. This event will take place May 19th at Jones Beach State Park, Long Island, New York. To participate in this fundraiser for PRCNY, click here. A reminder that June 27-28, PSI will conduct its 2-day training in Las Vegas at the Orleans Hotel & Casino. Tickets are $200. To register, click here. On the 29th, they’ll host a special training for supporting Latina moms with PPD, which is $90 for PSI members and $100 for non-members, and on the 30th there will also be a Reproductive Psychiatry Seminar which is $200 for PSI members and $250 for non-members.
