Happy Mother’s Day 2013! Welcome to our annual Mother’s Day Rally for Moms’ Mental Health. I’m very proud that we have made it a tradition for five years now to hold up our dear pregnant and new mom friends who may be struggling this Mother’s Day. The community of Postpartum Progress has been through those struggles. We understand. We care about what you’re going through, and we want you to know that we’ve been there and it’s going to be okay.
I hope you’ll be able to take the time to read through the 24 posts that will be posted here throughout this day, starting with this one at 12:01 am. Each of them has been written by a courageous mama who cares about breaking the stigma of postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, postpartum OCD, postpartum psychosis, antenatal depression and depression after weaning, among other perinital mental illnesses. Look for a new one every hour on the hour. Their words inspire me, and I hope they have the same effect on you.
If you can, take the time to leave a comment and let them know how their words have affected you. I know they’ll appreciate it. Meantime, here’s wishing you many more Mother’s Days, and a motherhood filled with joy. You’ll get there. I promise.

Reading these was the bright spot on the day after a kinda okay Mother’s Day. Thanks for providing a place for us all to write and read. Hope you are at the spa right now…I can only imagine how much work putting this together takes! 😉
I love the rally. I’m still reading some of the letters. Thank you for putting this together and all the good work you do!
