This is going to be a busy, BIZZZZZY week.

First, yesterday I did a Twitter chat with Lauren Hale (hashtag #PPDchat ) – a few moms came by and it was pretty cool! Thursday I'm flying to Washington DC to attend a press conference with Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) celebrating the passage of the Melanie Blocker Stokes MOTHERS Act as part of healthcare reform. It was such an honor to be invited … I've never been to a press conference on Capitol Hill! Then this Sunday is our 2nd Annual Mother's Day Rally for Mom's Mental Health. Because of that you won't be seeing many posts from me as I have to enter all 24 letters and get them ready for the big day. My fingers will be bleeding by Sunday but it's SO WORTH IT!! Very exciting. I really hope you'll be here on Sunday.

In the meantime, I wanted to share afew great things with you:

1. Blair at Heir to Blair wrote an intensely personal piece about answering a survey about postpartum depression and her reaction to each question. I think many of you will really connect to each answer she provides to the survey questions. She includes a video within the post that just breaks my heart. Go read the post and give her a Warrior Mom virtual hug.

2. Lauren Hale has revamped her blog and renamed itMy Postpartum Voice. Her focus will be on survivors of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Please go check it out. Way to go Lauren!

3. The mom at The Tsunami Mommy writes about the fact that postpartum depression doesn't always look the same. It manifests differently with different people. She shares her story with "Like A Punch In the Gut. For Six Months."

Hope you'll go check out those sites. I'll try to get a picture from DC and do a post from there.
