A dream of mine is coming true today — a dream to help even more women with postpartum depression — thanks to a woman by the name of Hélene Lauré. When you learn about what is happening today, I hope you’ll be as over the moon as I am, Warrior Moms. It’s an exciting day for all of us.

Hélene Lauré is a fashion designer who also had a dream: to create a successful business using her expertise that would give back. Commerce with a cause.
She conjured up four dreamy little characters named Mr. Bear, Lily, Cinnamon and Ginger. She drew them herself and imagined what the story behind each might be. She then created an infant sleepwear collection of adorable baby pajames that featured all four. She even created a unique name — Jammies by Hélene Lauré — and decided to package them in a sweet little jam jar. Then she worked her butt off to raise the funding to actually get her business — Two Mice, A Bear & A Bunny LLC — off the ground and get the baby PJs produced — the outfits, the labels, the packaging, everything.
During this massive project, she reached out to those she knew trying to decide which cause might benefit from Jammies. She ended up speaking with Susan Stone, LCSW, a tireless advocate for women with postpartum depression. If you don’t know Susan, you should. She is a former president of Postpartum Support International. She was instrumental in helping get the Melanie Blocker Stokes Mothers Act passed and signed into law. She has served on the board of the National Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition. She’s also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the MSW program at the Silver School of Social Work, New York University. And she’s on the board of my nonprofit, Postpartum Progress Inc. Susan suggested the cause of raising awareness of postpartum depression would be the perfect objective for Jammies, and that Postpartum Progress would be the right beneficiary.
That brings us to today, a very special day. I’m so proud to announce the launch of Jammies by Hélene Lauré. Ten percent of every sale of this absolutely fabulous infant sleepwear will be donated to Postpartum Progress Inc.!! Ladies, my heart is pounding like crazy. A product just for us. A real live, beautifully designed, professional, amazing product that was created especially to HELP US, moms with postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, postpartum psychosis, postpartum OCD, postpartum PTSD and depression during pregnancy. I hope this gets your heart pounding too!
Pure cotton Jammies onesies are available right now and from this point forward, in sizes 0-3, 3-6, 6-9 months and a special size for preemies and newborns up to 7 pounds. I hope that you will suggest them as a gift to everyone you know for baby showers, new mom gifts, whatever. You can order them right here.
You’ll also notice that there is a new tab at the top of Postpartum Progress in the navigation bar titled “Jammies.” I’m putting it there so you always have access to information about Jammies and how to order them at your fingertips. Hopefully that will make it even easier to order them or direct your friends, family, coworkers and others to that tab so they’ll know how to order too.
What do you think? Don’t you just love Jammies?
How fabulous! So cute, ace packaging, and such a brilliant cause. Congratulations to all of you – and hope the big day goes very very well for you all!
I’m so thrilled to see this! I’ve added a post about it on my blog and will add a pro-bono ad. Hopefully I can send some people your way. <3

How exciting, I love the packaging. Perfect timing, I just found out I’m pregnant with baby #3. I also have a handful of friends who are expecting, I know what I’ll be buying for their baby showers 🙂
Thanks Adriana!
Only connect… this is just amazing. I’m so happy for you!
LOVE LOVE LOVE!
This is so gorgeous, so exquisite, and such a great example of the collective power and talent of women online who come together and really DO things. Fistpumping for you all, well done xxxx
Thank you Eden. I love you girl.
Woohoo! Love shopping and supporting postpartum progress
U mean dedicated to make a buck. 10% please… Yeah I know is better than nothing, but lets call it what is is “great advertisement”
Way to go, Katherine! Just shared your site with a mom in need. Your work is so important.
Cute, but the price is a lil much, specially since they aren’t made from organic cotton, or in the US.
i’m excited too! this is one more step in the right direction 🙂
That is awsome. Being a mom who suffered PPD and anxiiety after having my daughter almost 8 years ago, and feeling very very alone trough it all, it;is so wonderful there is awarness and help out there for mom’s who find themselves in this scarey predicament.!!!
Boo-hoo, my baby is too chunky now for a pair (or several) and we live in Canada and the Jammies are not being shipped outside the US. Would love-love-love to see a Canadian start something like this up as there are so many Canadian women that have benefitted from Katherine’s extraordinary Postpartum Progress site. C’mon….anyone out there with a Canadian connection who can throw back some goodwill and dollars to Katherine??
