Mark your calendars — the 12th Annual Bowen Classic benefiting Postpartum Support International will be held on May 2nd and 3rd in Waco, Texas. This is a very important event that raises a lot of money and allows PSI to provide services that educate and support women who are suffering with postpartum depression and related illnesses.

Wade Bowen is an alt-country musician whose wife Shelby experienced postpartum depression. Last year they chose PSI as a beneficiary for their annual charity event, and raised $86,000. (Wow!!!) Last year's funds helped PSI redo its website and create a fabulous new DVD. I heard from those who attended that it was a GREAT party.

Wade's concert will be held Sunday, May 2nd at the Hog Creek Icehouse in Waco, Texas. Doors open at 1:30pm and the show starts at 3pm. Performances will include Wade Bowen, Randy Rogers & Brady Black, Brandon Rhyder, Kyle Park, Modern Day Drifters, Gordon Collier Band and some fantastic surprise guests. Concert tickets are open to the public and are on sale now. You can purchase tickets, which cost $15-20, here.

The golf tournament will be held Monday, May 3rd, at the Cottonwood Golf Course in Waco. It will be a 2-man scramble, with an entry fee of $125 per player.
