Nice story from the St. Petersburg Times on the University Community Hospital in Tampa and what they're doing to help moms with postpartum depression. This includes having moms fill out questionnaires to identify risk factors and then having high-risk moms see a postpartum support specialist before discharge. Great job UCH!

Was the story in the paper, or is there an online version of it? I work in the hospital as a social worker, and we're working on ideas for new programs/resources to implement when we open a new women's center next year. This sounds like a really great tool. I know our local doctors don't always screen as much as I wish they did, so this would be something really great to do with the moms in the hospital before they go home. Thanks for sharing it!
