Okay, but where's the support for women who do become like….that? Who do hurt their babies? Don't kill them, but scream at them from sleep deprivation and nonstop infant crying for hours and little support, maybe even squeeze them? What about women who, in their exhaustion and PPD actually DO hurt their infants? Tragically, many do. We can't deny it, especially not here. There has to be compassion and hope for these women as well. I was one of them. Happily I got help. I'm worried about the others out there who may be afraid to admit they have gone over the edge and lashed out at their tiny loved one in despair. There is hope and compassion even for them.
